September • 2007 • Prayer Letter

Dear Fellow Helpers in the Lord,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I pray my prayer letter finds each of you doing well.

Freda and I have been busy, working in the home office and traveling to churches on the weekends to present BEAMS, or update churches on “What’s happening at BEAMS”. God has been so good to us. The BEAMS ministry continues to grow, and as it grows we are finding the need for more warehouse space and more staff members.

The Lord recently blessed the BEAMS ministry with a designated offering of $150,000.00 for a new warehouse. Amen! We praise the Lord for the church and contributors who gave towards this worthy project. For some time we have been having a space problem. We have had our warehouse full of Bibles and have been using four shipping containers for storage. These shipping containers are ok for a temporary need, but not for a long period of time. With the humidity in our area, we need to have a place where we can control the temperature and humidity. This new warehouse will be such a blessing to us. I can’t wait to get it finished.

The Lord has also blessed us with two new staff members. Bro. David Montague is being trained to take Bro. Mike Mizell’s position as Missions Coordinator. Due to health reasons, Bro. Mizell has been told by his doctor to slow down in his work. Another new staff member, Bro. Patrick Fitzgerald, has accepted the position as Warehouseman and Grounds person. We are excited about having both of these men serving at the home office.

Special Project: Bro. Joseph Consford, sent out from the Central Baptist Church, Center, Texas, as a missionary to Ivory Coast, Africa, has requested 1,000 French Bibles for a container leaving in December. Any amount towards this need would be greatly appreciated.
Special Project: 1,000 French Bibles Needed. ($7,400.00 will meet his need.)

Eldwyn Rogers Honored at BEAMS Rally
Bro. Eldwyn Rogers, a missionary to Brazil, Paraguay, and Chile for over 36 years, was recently honored by the BEAMS ministry on August 10 for his faithful years of “Preaching the Book”, at a BEAMS Rally at Red Creek Baptist Church in Wiggins, MS.
